Scientifically Sweet book release party!

Love, support and a sugar rush.

Sometimes that's all you really need.

I would be entirely satisfied with a warm caring body, an arm around my shoulders a handful of gummy bears.

This weekend I was overwhelmed with the support from several caring bodies who gathered together to celebrate the beauty of butter, sugar and chocolate...

...and accomplishment.

We celebrated the birth of the Scientifically Sweet cookbook.

There were cupcakes and macarons.

There was champagne and punch (that may or may not have been spiked).

There was some book signage. It felt weird and awesome at the same time.

There was also a possibility of death by chocolate. It happens.

Although the recipes taste incredible, the book itself does not.

Real talk:

Hard work pays off.

Find your passion and believe in it.

Don't give up until your vision is realized.

Success can be seen in the eyes of those who believe in you, not in the dollar figure on a bank statement.

Live, love and eat well.

Thank you for stopping by. I love you like chocolate. For real.

  7. Got your book last week. Made the Gianduja Brownies and the Marbled Blueberry and Creamy Lemon Tart this weekend. Both recipes included simple techniques that were new to me and both were smashing hits! Love the pics, recipes and science based explanations.
